it isnt mentioned here but there is also the tale during the 70s and 80s there were satanic rituals performed in the hills, its said that bonfires and figures in black robes can be seen in the hills, this i can personally vouch for.

Had a great time when we went back in October. I see people complaining about it being closed on the 15th. It's a outdoor haunt!!! Subject to the weather. The wind knocked their corn down and its lucky the reopened, I'm sure they didn't like being closed either.

I barely even consider this a horror movie. I don't think I was scared at any point of it, it was almost absurd at times. I laughed at it more then I was scared. The only person that brought any life to the movie was Dieter Laser, he should be the poster child for mad scientist for the next 15 years at least. I have read so many reviews on the movie today and seen so many takes on the movie that I find it hard to believe that the needle could jump around so wildly. One person will love it, the next hates it. I even ran across one where the reviewer was unleashing the fury on her friends because it made her puke. I had a coworker at DISH tell me I should watch it, most likely hoping to for me to have the same type of reaction as that reviewer. Amazingly I found the movie streaming on dish online on IFC's page, must have recently played there. So after I watched both of the movies I figured I could one up him, so I watched the sequel too and told him "Wow you need to watch the sequel". He must have because he hasn't talked to me since then and glares at me like I killed his fish. The movie had a clinical look to it through the whole thing, there was a lack of blood through most of it which I was rather surprised by. By the time we got towards the end, my roommate and I were making up the dialogue for them, after the doctor got knifed in his knee we figured it was the battle of the worms, actually got a more then a few good laughs out of it. Amazing that Tom Six directed both of them when you see the polar difference between them.
